Unlike the fixed position camera, the Pan / Tilt / Zoom network cameras have the ability to position the imager in two axis. A horizontal movement is referred to as "Pan" and the Vertical axis is referred to as "Tilt".
In most cases either an optical zoom and or a digital zoom is available.
In all PTZ or PT, IP cameras, the built in web server accommodates the controls for the movements, and generally the storage of fixed positions.

Network Camera: Selection of a PTZ or PT camera
Outdoor or Indoor enclosure: Outdoor enclosure is recommended for all network cameras that will be mounted in an outdoor environment. Indoor enclosures are not required, but can make a more aesthetic appearance in most cases.
Ethernet Camera Connection: Regardless of wired or wireless, all IP cameras require a connection to either a LAN (local area network) or the internet.
