What is required

Network Camera:
Selection of a megapixel camera with the desired sensor resolution, lux rating, and frame rate.

Outdoor or Indoor enclosure:
Outdoor enclosure is recommended for all network cameras that will be mounted in an outdoor environment.
Indoor enclosures are not required, but can make a more aesthetic appearance in most cases.

 

Ethernet Camera Connection:
Mega pixel cameras currently come in a wired version only. IP cameras require a connection to either a LAN (local area network) or the internet.
