Fixed Position Network Cameras:

Fixed position cameras are placed in one static position. A common use of a static fixed position IP camera could be a gated entrance. Where it is desired to have the same view at all times.
 

What is required

Network Camera:
Selection of a fixed position surveillance camera

Outdoor or Indoor enclosure:
Outdoor enclosure is recommended for all network cameras that will be mounted in an outdoor environment.
Indoor enclosures are not required, but can make a more aesthetic appearance in most cases.

Ethernet Camera Connection:
Regardless of wired or wireless, all IP cameras require a connection to either a LAN (local area network) or the internet.
